 These days it became very cold in the morning and evening. We will be afraid of not only corona virus but also influenza virus. By the way, do you know the origin of the influenza? The word influenza came from ''influence of the star''! Ancient people who didn't know the idea of virus thought that the influenza occurred due to the influence of the operation of celestial bodies. I knew this story in today's class and I felt the origins of words are very interesting. I would like to investigate the origin of other words.

 October 17, 2020 (Sat.) Rain in the morning cleared up by afternoon  It was chilly. I studied and made lunch with my friend whom I met in equestrian. We made a lot of dishes, pumpkin gratin, pumpkin salad, and minestrone. I like pumpkins and sweet potatoes very much, so these dishes made me happy! All dishes were delicious, especially pumpkin gratin was good. I was surprised that minestrone included garlic. I would like to cook these dishes again and make other meals and sweets with my friend.

 One of my favorite singers is Ryokuousyokusyakai. This is a band group that consists of two men and two women. I knew this group recently, so I don't know the details yet. The vocal of this group sings very well and the singing voice is powerful. I was fascinated the singing voice.  One of my favorite singers is Aimyon. She is a singer-songwriter, so she not only sings her songs but also makes the lyrics. Her songs were used in many dramas and many of her songs are love song. In her songs, I especially like "hadakanokokoro" and "marigold". The song "hadakanokokoro" is a theme song of a drama "kaseihunonagisasan". The lyrics are positive and warm, so the heart warms up when I listen to those songs. I like the lyrics as well as melodies of her songs. I would like to enjoy listening to her music from now on.

One of my favorite singers is King Gnu. King Gnu is a music band group which consists of four men. I get up with their songs everyday. In their music, especially I like "hakuzitsu". This song became popular with young people last year, but I still like it and often listen to. When I'm depressed, I feel the song gives me encouragement. In addition, I can sympathize with the lyrics of the song deeply.  I knew the group for the first time when my mother listened to their songs. At first, I felt the vocal's voice of this group is very strange. And then I was surprised at the fact that two men of this group were singing. Besides, one of the two vocals sings in an octave higher than the melody! I sometimes feel his singing voice is just like a woman. All four member graduated from same prestigious university of arts, so they can also play the various musical instruments. I would like to go the concert someday.

Today, I listen to ''yasasiieikaiwa''. Now I would like to write what I felt important in the video and my understanding. If you want to realize your dream, there are three points you should pay attention to. First point is to make achievable dream. If you set too big dream from the start, you may give up the dream. It's because it become difficult to feel a sense of achievement.  Second points are to make small steps and to decide that the deadline is near future. You cannot achieve the dream one time, so it is important to divide tasks to do. I have a favorite word, ''困難は分割せよ''. That word is the word of my high school math teacher, but I think it can use not only in math problems but also in my life.  Third points are to write down the dream and to talk about the dream to your friends. If you talk about the dream, you are not able to avoid efforts easily. In addition, you may get some advice on it from your friends.  Thank you.

At college, I would also like to study biotechnology and chemistry. When I was in high school and junior high school, I belonged to the brass band club. I had played the trombone for six years.
