 These days it became very cold in the morning and evening. We will be afraid of not only corona virus but also influenza virus. By the way, do you know the origin of the influenza?

The word influenza came from ''influence of the star''! Ancient people who didn't know the idea of virus thought that the influenza occurred due to the influence of the operation of celestial bodies. I knew this story in today's class and I felt the origins of words are very interesting. I would like to investigate the origin of other words.

Takaya Shrine and sand painting of "kanei-tsuhou(寛永通宝)"

     I visited Takaya shrine and sand painting of "kanei-tsuhou(寛永通宝)" when I went back to my hometown for winter vacation. Both of them are located in Kanonji City, Kagawa. This was my first visit and it was good, so I would like to introduce them.      The first is about Takaya shrine. Takaya shrine is a shrine that its Hongu is located on the top of a mountain, Mt. Inazumi. We have to climb the mountain to pray in the shrine. The mountain is at an altitude of about 404 meters, so the view from that shrine is very beautiful! The main shrine's torii is known as the "Torii in the sky", and in 2018 it was selected as one of the eighty-eight views of Shikoku. By the way the torii also appears in the anime "YUKI YUNA IS A HERO(結城友奈は勇者である)", so there have been fans who visited the pilgrimage to scared place, which have long been on the stage of animation.      Next is sand painting of "kanei-tsuhou(寛永通宝). Today, I listen to ''yasasiieikaiwa''. Now I would like to write what I felt important in the video and my understanding. If you want to realize your dream, there are three points you should pay attention to. First point is to make achievable dream. If you set too big dream from the start, you may give up the dream. It's because it become difficult to feel a sense of achievement.  Second points are to make small steps and to decide that the deadline is near future. You cannot achieve the dream one time, so it is important to divide tasks to do. I have a favorite word, ''困難は分割せよ''. That word is the word of my high school math teacher, but I think it can use not only in math problems but also in my life.  Third points are to write down the dream and to talk about the dream to your friends. If you talk about the dream, you are not able to avoid efforts easily. In addition, you may get some advice on it from your friends.  Thank you.
